Rewards According to God

In this world, it can often seem that people who operate in wicked schemes, have a better life, and seem to get everything they want. It can be incredibly discouraging to someone who has a righteous posture in daily life endeavours and outwardly does not have the same results.

´(16) Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day. (17) For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! (18) So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.´ — 2 Corinthians 4:16–18 AMP

While on the outside, things might look shiny, glamorous, and good; do not be fooled, since living in a sinful nature, not having a relationship with God, creates no fruit. It creates emptiness, a sense of purposelessness, and a constant need to rush after something else.

Therefore; we can be rest assured, since it is God´s promise, and evident in our spiritual life, that the spirit is fed and grown by righteousness, honesty, and truthfulness.

´For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!´ — Romans 8:18 AMP
