´(31) Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ´What are we going to eat?´ or ´What are we going to drink?´ or ´What are we going to wear?´ (32) For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them. (33) But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right — attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.´ — Matthew 6:31–33 AMP

In life, people tend to worry a lot about everything. ´Where does the next job come from, how to pay this and that, and the only way out seems to be to become financially independent.´. The problem is, that while people pursue their way of what they think freedom means, they wear themselves out.

The focus is the wrong one, because the real quest, the real thing we need to search for, is God.

God knows exactly what we need. The problem is that we think we know what is best for us, but we do not. Certainly, on the surface, things might look to be put together, but they are just built on shaky ground, one or two or some more misfortunate events, and everything is prone to fall apart.

God is our firm foundation. The relationship with God is eternal and unshakable. This means, that no matter what happens to us, no matter which circumstances occur, we can fully and completely trust in God and his guidance when we ask for it and truly seek him.
